When you're in a winning position have the presence of mind to consider what your opponents counters will be – remember it's not only about what you want to do, but about what you want to do in response to what your opponent will be doing. It's so easy to only only focus on what you want to do when it's seems close to over, but the better your opponents are, the less likely it is that it'll be over without some last minute resistance/counters – so even as you're putting your finishing plans into operation, be mindful of what a good opponent might do and be ready to move accordingly – it's never over until it's over
