The earlier you start, the you do: So often we approach lackadaisically toward an opponent and get to before we start making decisions as to what we are going to do. This is fine if you're sparring some well beneath your level or if you're in a more relaxed mode, but in a more situation you must start before you even begin contact. Even as you approach your opponent you should be scanning for openings and formulating a plan of attack.
