It's difficult to enter into attacks through the front door on a skilled opponent. Most of the time you'll need an angle to enter. As soon as you make contact with your opponent, start looking to get away from direct frontal alignment and out towards an angle. Most of the major attacks are great facilitated by this. Think always about getting outside your opponent's arms or perpendicular whilst underneath and suddenly all those closed doors that shut down your attacks start to open
